What Is It?

For all bookings a $20 booking fee($10/night) is used to hold each reservation. Please note properties may request additional deposits prior to check-in. This fee will be charged to your credit card immediately upon securing your reservation. Please note the service fee charge will show as “Event Connect” on your credit card statement.

Why Does It Exist?

Hotel contracts managed by Prep Network include a Force Majeure Clause for participants in the event of a situation like an epidemic/pandemic that would cause the event to be canceled. This clause ensures that reservations can be canceled without penalty and are protected from any additional charges from the hotel.

Prep Network processes this fee to:

• Cover our commitments with the hotels.
• Offset our operational costs that go into providing service on the hotel contracts/room blocks/reservations.
• Cover any administration costs of providing a seamless digital booking experience for you and the event.
• Secure large quantities of room types with valuable amenities, discounted rates, and “Pay Later” options.
• Provide favorable cancellation policies for group blocks.
• It allows us to advocate on your behalf to the hotels when looking to cancel after the cancellation deadline.
